Diversity Is The Mix At The Workplace; Inclusion Is Making The Mix Work

The resilience of workplaces has been tested through time through social, political, and economic upheavals, and as a consequence, has radically changed the face of business. “Diversity” and “inclusion” are more than just buzzwords in the corporate world. Having a diversity & inclusion strategy is critical for any organization seeking to set out their approach in these areas. Studies show that bringing together a team with a diverse set of backgrounds and perspectives naturally lends itself to innovative thinking. It’s the job of D&I leaders to ensure employers are building more inclusive cultures for employees of all stripes. These leaders strongly believe that being inclusive is good for morale and can strengthen a company’s bottom line.

Along with being an outstanding professional speaker and author, Joe is also a personal leadership coach. As an executive leader in the organization, reporting directly to the CEO, Joe notes that his job, first and foremost, is to discover and strategize how his role in the organization lends itself to the greater good of their employees, customers, clients, and the community at large. He is passionate about community service, and has chaired several community boards, following his passion for education, nutrition, culture, mental health, diversity and inclusion, and the advancement of underprivileged and at-risk individuals.
